In Warhols' vibrant studio art, music, and fashion collided for almost a decade. White Light / White Heat is the seminal 1968 record bythe band The Velvet Underground, which marked the end of their relationship with their friend and partner Andy Warhol.

Guests are invited to come dressed up as their favorite 60s pop icon, mod rocker, beatnik, or Warhol superstar.

Special Guest DJ: Derek Plaslaiko is the most unpretentious man in techno. He puts his heart and soul in every set he plays no matter how many people are in the room to enjoy it. Plaslaiko has a reputation for playing killer techno sets, especially at The Bunker, where he is currently the resident DJ. He has toured all over the world and usually finds your favorite song months before it is even out. Yet while he is chillin' at home he listens to all kinds of music. Plaslaiko loves to play at Kiss & Tell because he gets to bring out his favorite Indie Rock, Soul, Shoegazer, and good old fashioned Rolling Stone tracks. In 2003, Plaslaiko became part of the original team of DJs at Detroit's Untitled parties, sharing a residency with Tadd Mullinix (aka James T. Cotton), Matthew Dear, and Mike Servito. In 2004 he moved to New York City, and was honored in the Village Voice 2006's "Best Of" poll as New York's Best Techno DJ.

Special Guest DJ: Mike Servito has fabulous style and amazing taste in music. When he used to live in Detroit he helped host a similar party to Kiss & Tell called Sass and also Les Infants Terribles, which later moved to LIT bar in NY. He is one of our absolute favorite DJs because he knows exactly what we like to dance to. Mike played at The Seze's Gay Boyfriends edition of Kiss & Tell last year and stole the show with his hot tracks. Ghostly artist Servito usually plays techno sets so this is a rare treat to hear him play some party jams and dark treats. A lifelong music fanatic, Servito is a DJ's DJ. He is equally adept in any musical setting and fearless in his transition from one style of music to another. He bridges styles seamlessly without an afterthought to their classification. It is this unpredictability and trust in his music knowledge that has garnered Servito a cult following around Detroit and made him an in-demand DJ over the years.

Kiss & Tell Burlesque: Amber Ray is our in house burlesque starlet. She regularly performs her incredibly creative and seductive skits at Kiss & Tell. You might have seen her at our Valentine's Broken Hearts Party and our Dog Days of Summer Party where she danced around to "Can Your Pussy Do the Dog?" by the Cramps in a very sexy puppy costume. For this month's spectacle she is going to perform a naughty 60s striptease to the Velevet Underground. When she is not doing her adorable skits at every cool cocktail party in NYC and around the country, Amber is a showgirl costumer, stylist, and art model. We love Amber and so should you!

Kiss & Tell's Resident DJ: Bethany Benzur always has all the DJ nerds in complete awe of her selections, and will be back to play some raunchy electro and dark disco this month. Sometimes her husband Gabe helps her pick out cool records to play at Kiss & Tell.

Kiss & Tell Hostess: Deanna met Seze, her fellow lady of the nightlife, a few years ago at The Bunker and they started to host Kiss & Tell once it moved to Rose Bar. Deanna always shows up to Kiss & Tell with a bag full of tricks. She is our decorating goddess and makes sure everyone at the party is looking great and having a good time. We are still not sure how she convinced every guest to wear fake mustashes at our Frencch pop party last April. She is currently busy earning her nursing degree.

Kiss & Tell Hostess & Photographer: Seze Devres started Kiss & Tell at Trash Bar in Williamsburg on December 7, 2005. Only a few people showed up to her party. However wiith a lot of help, support, and encouragement from her friends and her man Bryan Kasenic, the party has become its own little beast. When she is is not dreaming up crazy themes for Kiss & Tell she is a full time artist, photographer, and curator.
